Black Hummus Platter


Black Hummus
Ingredients :
Garbanzo (Chickpeas)
Black Tahini
Garlic
Lemon
Salt
Water

How To :
Soak the chickpeas (garbanzo) for minimum 8 hours or over night.
Drain the water and rinse with clean water.
Cook the soaked chickpeas in a hot boiling water until the bean is tender.
(easy too pinch with fork)
Set aside and let it cool.
Squeeze a lemon to get the juice and peel the garlic.
Get a blender, add Chickpeas, lemon juice, garlic, salt and Black Tahini.
Blitz all the ingredients until well combined, if there's any lump continue adding some water
or you can replace with Extra Virgin Olive Oil for more rich flavour and nutrients.
Scoop out the Black Hummus to a clean bowl or any serving dishes.
Enjoy!!

Notes : You can eat Black Hummus as a spread or dips, or eat it alone like you eat a Nutella from the jar! but i prefer it those with steamed vegetables and pan toasted tortilla. Believe me, it taste so good and crispy even its not baked or fried! or just spread into any whole meal bread or wheat tortilla and roll it into a Vegan Tortilla Wrapped, or another idea like Buritos (adding some Quinoa), or Quesadilla (adding some Nutritional Yeast and Queso). Again the sky is the limit, you can go creative as much as you can. Who Say being a Vegan is boring? Come on!

Ingredients:
Black Sesame Seed
Salt
Water

How to :
Toast the black sesame seed in a skillet until puffy and fragrant
Set aside and let it cool for a while
Blitz in a small blender or food processor until the texture is smooth.
if too thick, just add a teaspoon of water to thinner.
