Green Smoothie

How to : 

Ingredients :

Bok Choy
Frozen Banana
Frozen Pineapple
Flax Seeds
Plain Water

How to : 
Blitz all the ingredients until fully combined.
Serve and Enjoy !


 i left my coconut water in my fridge (at office) so i replace it with Plain Water which is taste not bad at all. The reason why i always use Coconut Water (without the meat), because it contain a lot of Nutrient and give better flavour compare to distilled water. While Frozen Fruits booze the smoothies, and the texture become more creamier without any additional Ice Cubes. I read from some article on web, adding a ice cubes, make the Smoothie to watery, it happen on mine once or twice, because my blender is not type of high speed, that can blitz frozen fruits well. Sometimes it make a noisy sound and i am afraid it will broken, so i put a little liquid (coconut water or yakult) to make it work easier.

Adding other ingredients beside Veggie or Fruits, like Chia Seed, Flax Seed, Goji Berry , etc it enhance the health benefit of the Smoothies. Flax Seeds are better consumed in grounded or powder rather than whole seed, because the grounded is more easier to be absorbed on your digestion and it wont flush away while you pee or poop. It simply easy to make, just grab a handful of Flax seed (golden, brown, etc) and blitz it until achieve the soft powder, then keep in a tight jar to avoid any lumps. Actually people often get mistaken between Chia Seed and Basil Seed. Both have almost the same size, colour, and texture. But once you see it closer, than you can notice, Chia seed are in grey colour, lighter colour than basil Seed. It's a Superfood, have Calcium more than Milk, which is a good news for Vegan (Non Vegan are also welcome). It can be consumed in raw, or for a mixture in Smoothie, Overnight Oats, Chia Seed Pudding, Soup, Salad, Bread (cake), you name it. I always use Chia seed in my Green Smoothie, this Superfood will thicken the smoothies and booze your immune system. Another great idea of Chia seed, is you can make a Chia Seed Jam, with any fruits, like Strawberry, Mango, Pineapple, Kiwi, etc. For the sweetener, you can choose ripen fruit that may be sweet or adding a spoon of honey (agave, maple syrup) won't kill you.
