Saturday Afternoon, usually i just stay at home and spent quality time with family at home. Suddenly my cousin call me, to have lunch at PIK. She want to eat "bakso", i guess it was "bakso Aan" the one who my friend told me, she tried it before. Once i also try to go there after Bazaar at PIK, too bad the place is close. Lucky me, today, i have chance to try that famous meatball which is originally from Medan. The place is in Elang Laut, not really far from my home.

At first i was confuse, what i should eat, since i never try their meatball. So i decided to try their Menu "Bakso Campur" mean, they combine all type of Meatball like Beef Ball, Fish Ball and Pork Meat Ball. The broth was delicious and tasty, but i guess they must be use MSG. Because i feel so thirsty afterward. The Meat was so tender and juicy, sweet and firm (not too soft, quite chewy). I ordered the Mixed Meatball Soup with Rice Noodle "Medan Type" which is bigger than normal Rice Noodle in Jakarta (that usually sell on the street food). My Cousin ordered Bakso Urat with Beef Slices, she said the meat was hard to chew, but overall the taste was not bad. 

Price for each bowl is Idr 35.000.

After we had our lunch, we got to Wallpaper store for my cousin home. Because she is going to decorate the wall, for her sister Sangjit Day. We look around and i just realised it was quite hard to choose the good quality of Wallpaper to match with the interior without any Interior Designer help. The various range of design from flower pattern, Damask, etc was quite hard decision. Some are very heavy pattern, but there are also very simple pattern. My Aunty prefer brown colour, to cover the wall behind the Television on the living room area. Once she get the code and take photo for the sample. We step out from the store and search for a place to chit chat.

Find a dessert place, was not easy, as our preference not the same with the elders. The young want some dessert like Sumoboo, while the elders want a lighter dessert like Es Campur or Coconur Ice. Then we choose Chatime, because it is light and we don't have any other choice. My cousin bought the member Card for only idr 10.000. Then we kill the time with laughter and gossip around about anything that make us laugh. We didn't realise that time fly so fast, it was 6 pm. And we return to home, my cousin sent me and my Mom back to home. It was a great day to spent with beloved one.

*) Next time i will ask for half sugar. Because mine is way too sweet. I feel like drinking Sugar instead of Strawberry Smoothie. My Mom order a Passion Fruit QQ Tea with Lemon Wedge, Bubble and Coconut Jelly. Quite Refreshing and Delicious.
