Rolled Oats |
Oats are great to be served as a breakfast (Re: Break-Fast) or snacks like Oat Cookies, Granola, Raw Cake, etc. I just found from some web, that actually Oat Flour can easily be made at home. Even if i don't have any coffee grinder, still i can do it with regular blender (not juicer), with any blade shape, well mine is not 'S' blade blender, and it still works. I believe Oat Flour are more healthier than All Purpose Flour. It can be use for cake, pastries, or cooking, for example Oat Brownies, or the savoury dish, Gnocchi. Replace the regular white flour with oat flour and knead it with the cooked mashed potato, together with farm Egg in the middle of the flour (to prevent break up the dough) and season with some salt, black pepper or any additional herbs like Dried Basil or Dried Parsley. You can always give it a twist, by adding a Green Leaves (Spinach, or Cabbage) to give a vibrant green colour or add a Sweet Potato, Butternut Squash, Purple Potato, Beet Root, that might growth under the surface of soil with (of course) 'Root' and you will get a Colourful Colour in every rounded small Gnocchi, or give a twist by add all colour into each layer and its will look like Rainbow Gnocchi.

Rolled Oats |
Rolled Oats (not that type of Instant Oats) this is more likely to create a Granola (cereal crunch) or Granola Bar, because generally this type is more fibre and need to cook on stove with Milk or Plain Water. But today, i make another experience, by grind this Rolled Oats into powder or grounded Oats, usually people call this as Oat Flour instead of Grounded Flour.

Grounded Rolled Oats (Oat Flour) |
Some of the ground oat are clumpy, (but dry, not wet), you can still grind again if there is any lump or nor soft enough. The result is awesome, and i taste with my finger, very sweet and soft. Maybe i can stir with cocoa powder and hot water as a Hot Beverages. For more healthier, chia seed or grounded flax seed can be added to the drink. That's why some people love to drink Oat Milk, which is taste different from Almond Milk and Soy Milk, because it is Grain not type of Nut or Bean. One day i will give a try to make a scrumptious Oat Milk (because i have my Nut Milk Bag *laugh*)
